Position Overview
We are seeking a
highly experienced Snowflake Engineer
with deep expertise in building, optimizing, and scaling
complex Snowflake queries and data models . In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain data warehousing solutions that form the backbone of PriceEasy’s analytics and intelligence platform. You will be hands-on in query performance tuning, schema design, and advanced SQL engineering—pushing Snowflake to its limits to deliver high-performance, enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop
advanced Snowflake SQL queries , stored procedures, and UDFs for large-scale analytics.
Architect efficient
data models
and schema structures (star, snowflake, and hybrid models) to optimize performance.
Build, monitor, and optimize
ETL / ELT pipelines
leveraging Snowflake’s native features (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks).
Conduct deep
query performance tuning
to handle billions of rows with speed and accuracy.
Implement and manage
role-based security, data masking, and governance
within Snowflake.
Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate requirements into high-performing data solutions.
Integrate Snowflake with other cloud platforms (AWS S3, Kafka, Redis, etc.) and BI tools.
Own and maintain
best practices for cost optimization, clustering, and partitioning
within Snowflake.
Document architecture, queries, and processes for scalability and knowledge sharing.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance on Snowflake best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake , including query writing, optimization, and architecture.
Proven expertise in writing
highly complex SQL queries
that scale across very large datasets.
Strong understanding of
data warehousing concepts , dimensional modeling, and analytics-driven design.
Demonstrated success in
query performance tuning and cost optimization
in Snowflake.
Proficiency with
ETL / ELT workflows , including Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
Expertise in
Python
or other programming languages for data transformation and orchestration.
Solid knowledge of
AWS services
(S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, etc.) and integration with Snowflake.
Familiarity with caching and real-time frameworks such as
Redis .
Strong background in
SQL and NoSQL databases , with a focus on analytical workloads.
Experience implementing
CI / CD pipelines
for data workflows.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to push Snowflake to its technical limits.
Hands-on experience in
fast-paced startup or high-growth environments .
