Production Lead

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Production Activities: Oversee daily operations on the production floor ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and safely. This includes managing assembly machining or fabrication processes.
• Manage Production Teams: Lead and motivate production staff assigning tasks based on skills and availability and ensuring that team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure Quality Control: Monitor production processes to maintain high-quality standards conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Plan and Organize Production Schedules: Develop and manage production schedules to meet deadlines ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve production targets.
• Implement Safety Protocols: Enforce safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment conducting training sessions and ensuring compliance among all team members.
• Troubleshoot Production Issues: Identify and resolve production-related problems analyzing data and performance metrics to implement improvements and enhance efficiency.
• Maintain Production Records: Keep accurate records of production outcomes resource usage and compliance with safety standards providing regular reports to upper management.
• Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with Supply chain engineering quality control and maintenance teams to address production challenges and implement process improvements.

• Education and Experience
• Bachelors degree/Diploma in engineering Stream. Mechanical /Electrical along with relevant certifications and 6-8 years practical experience preferably in medical device/Equipment manufacturing Industry.
