Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.

- Build and enhance automation frameworks using TestNG/JUnit.

- Develop and manage automation projects using Gradle.

- Create and execute effective test strategies to ensure product quality.

- Debug complex issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.

- Perform code reviews and promote automation best practices.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong programming experience in Java or JavaScript.

- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation testing.

- Expertise in TestNG and/or JUnit.

- Good understanding of Gradle build tool.

- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, and automation best practices.

- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Good to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of API testing and performance testing.

- Exposure to AI/ML-based testing approaches.

- Familiarity with additional automation frameworks and tools.
