Senior ServiceNow Engineer

Role Overview :

As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer at Rayosys, you will serve as a technical anchor for our enterprise implementation projects.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex ServiceNow instances, ensuring that our solutions align with the strategic business objectives of our clients.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers, you will translate intricate business requirements into robust technical architectures.

Your work will directly influence the efficiency of client operations, ensuring that their service management platforms are performant, scalable, and user-centric.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, HRSD, and FSM modules to drive process automation for diverse client environments.

- Develop custom applications and components using the ServiceNow UI Builder and Service Portal Framework to enhance user experience and interface functionality.

- Design and maintain complex integrations between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise systems using REST APIs and other middleware technologies to ensure seamless data flow.

- Lead technical workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide architectural guidance, and ensure the proposed solutions meet long-term business needs.

- Optimize platform performance by writing clean, efficient JavaScript and adhering to ServiceNow best practices to minimize technical debt.

- Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of development quality across all project deliverables.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow implementation, with a deep understanding of the platform's core architecture and modular capabilities including ITSM, HRSD, and FSM.

- Proven ability to build sophisticated, responsive interfaces using the Service Portal Framework and UI Builder.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and server-side scripting, with the ability to develop complex business rules, client scripts, and script includes.

- Extensive experience in designing and managing REST API integrations to connect ServiceNow with external enterprise ecosystems.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead client-facing discussions effectively.

- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in ServiceNow development and architecture, with a track record of delivering high-impact projects.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment across our Mumbai and Pune offices, demonstrating strong self-management and collaborative skills.
