QAD Architect - ERP Solutions

We are seeking an experienced QAD Architect to lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of QAD ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in QAD applications, business process optimization, system architecture, and enterprise integrations. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver scalable and efficient ERP solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of QAD ERP solutions across business functions.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable QAD system designs.

- Define solution architecture, integration frameworks, and technical standards.

- Provide expertise in QAD modules including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Finance, and Distribution.

- Design and oversee integrations between QAD and external enterprise applications.

- Drive system upgrades, enhancements, performance optimization, and modernization initiatives.

- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, developers, and third-party vendors.

- Conduct solution reviews, architecture assessments, and technical governance activities.

- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and enterprise architecture standards.

- Provide technical leadership and mentor project teams on QAD best practices.

Required Skills :

- 8-10 years of experience working with QAD ERP solutions.

- Strong expertise in QAD architecture, configuration, customization, and implementation.

- Experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (EE).

- Strong understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, and Finance processes.

- Experience in ERP integrations, APIs, EDI, and middleware technologies.

- Hands-on experience with Progress 4GL/OpenEdge.

- Knowledge of data migration, system upgrades, and performance optimization.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with QAD Cloud implementations.

- Exposure to enterprise integration platforms and API-led architectures.

- Experience supporting global ERP deployments and multi-site environments.

- Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies.

- QAD certifications will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
