Chief Operations Officer - Overview :

The COO Projects will provide strategic leadership and operational direction across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction functions within the organizations real estate business. The role is responsible for end-to-end delivery of multiple projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, and township developments), ensuring integration of design, procurement, contracts, and construction management.

The incumbent will ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects within approved budgets while building a strong execution capability aligned to the organizations growth plans.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic & Business Leadership :

- Develop and drive the Projects strategy in alignment with business objectives.

- Lead long-term planning of project pipeline, resource allocation, and capability building. Introduce modern construction technologies, digital tools, and sustainable practices.

Project Planning & Delivery :

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and adhering to quality benchmarks.

- Establish governance frameworks including risk management, escalation, and reporting systems.

Engineering & Design Management :

- Review and validate architectural, structural, and MEP designs.

- Drive value engineering initiatives for cost optimization.

Procurement & Contracting :

- Develop a strong vendor ecosystem of contractors, consultants, and suppliers.

- Ensure transparent, compliant, and cost-effective procurement processes.

Construction & Execution :

- Oversee execution across all project sites.

- Monitor progress, productivity, safety, and quality metrics.

- Ensure compliance with RERA, building codes, and environmental regulations.

People Leadership :

- Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary projects team.

- Mentor and develop leadership pipeline within engineering and execution teams.

Financial Management :

- Drive budgeting, cost control, and cash flow management.

- Implement MIS and dashboards for real-time project tracking.
