Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect with 12-15 years of experience to join our consulting team. This is a 1-year contract position based in Ahmedabad. As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure data solutions on leading cloud platforms, primarily Azure and AWS. You will leverage your expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and cloud technologies to guide strategic data initiatives for our clients. Experience in business school (B-School) environments, particularly in understanding business strategy and its impact on data architecture, is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of enterprise data strategies, architectures, and roadmaps.

- Architect and implement scalable data platforms and solutions on Azure and AWS, including data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming analytics solutions.

- Define data governance, data quality, and data security standards.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.

- Provide expert guidance on data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data migration strategies.

- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of data engineers and developers.

- Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, design, and procedures.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 12 - 15 years of progressive experience in data architecture and solution design.

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Strong understanding of various data modeling techniques (relational, Kimball, Inmon, NoSQL).

- Experience with a range of data technologies, including but not limited to :

1. Azure : Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure Stream Analytics.

2. AWS : S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena, Kinesis, DynamoDB.

- Experience in data governance, data quality, and master data management (MDM).

- Excellent consulting skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's degree or MBA from a reputable business school (B-School).

- Certifications in Azure or AWS data specialties.

- Experience with other cloud platforms or big data technologies.

Note : This is a contract position for a period of one year.
