About The Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Noida.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in ETL testing, data quality validation, and Snowflake-based data platforms, along with hands-on experience in SQL and large-scale data validation.
• In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of enterprise data systems by validating complex ETL pipelines, data transformations, and data lineage processes.
• You will work closely with agile squads, data engineers, business stakeholders, and development teams to maintain high standards of data quality and testing excellence.
• Candidates with prior exposure to the US Healthcare domain and modern data quality frameworks will be highly preferred.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

ETL & Data Testing :

• Lead and execute end-to-end ETL testing activities across data warehousing and analytics platforms.
• Validate ETL workflows, source-to-target mappings, data transformations, and data movement processes.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for data validation.
• Perform data reconciliation and verification to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of enterprise datasets.
• Validate large datasets, business rules, and complex transformations across multiple systems.
• Perform data lineage validation to ensure accurate data flow and traceability.
  
  

Snowflake Testing & SQL Validation

• Perform testing and validation on Snowflake data platforms, ensuring performance, integrity, and correctness.
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data verification and validation.
  
  

Validate Snowflake Components Including

• SnowSQL
• Snowpipe processes
• Stored procedures
• Data ingestion and transformation pipelines
• Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies, anomalies, and performance issues.
  
  

Data Quality & Automation

• Ensure adherence to enterprise data quality standards and governance frameworks.
• Work with data quality tools and frameworks such as:
• DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Great Expectations
• Equivalent data validation frameworks
• Implement automated validation approaches for improving testing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
• Monitor and improve data quality metrics and reporting.
  
  

Agile Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work within agile squads (5-6 members) as an embedded QA to ensure continuity, domain alignment, and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
  
  

Collaborate Closely With

• Business Analysts
• QA Teams
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release activities.
• Provide testing insights, defect analysis, and quality recommendations to stakeholders.
  
  

Test Management & DevOps Collaboration

• Manage defect tracking, test execution, and reporting using JIRA or equivalent tools.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as:
• Git
• Bitbucket
• Support continuous integration and continuous testing practices in modern data environments.
• Maintain detailed testing documentation, defect reports, and validation records.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong QA experience in Data Warehousing and ETL Testing.
• Expertise in SQL with strong hands-on experience in writing and validating complex SQL queries.
• Strong experience with Snowflake and associated components including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, and stored procedures.
  
  

Hands-on Experience Validating

• Large datasets
• Data transformations
• Data lineage
• ETL pipelines
• Experience working with Data Quality frameworks such as DBT, Great Expectations, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and embedded squad models.
  
  

Working Knowledge Of

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.

Experience in the US Healthcare domain with understanding of healthcare datasets such as :

• Claims Data
• Healthcare Data Models
• Prior experience leading testing initiatives or functioning as a Test Lead in enterprise data programs.
• Experience in cloud-based data ecosystems and modern data engineering environments.
