Consultant-Contract Abstraction

• Independently abstract and review NDA, Vendor, Procurement, and SaaS agreements
• Identify and tag risk clauses: uncapped liability, auto-renewal, broad IP assignment, limitation of liability carve-outs
• Cross-reference contract terms against the US Consulting standard playbook and flag deviations
• Produce structured abstracts with key data points in prescribed format
• Conduct peer review of L1 output as directed by the lead
• Manage personal queue and maintain accuracy above the 98% SLA threshold
• Attend daily calibration sessions and implement feedback within the same session
• Escalate complex clause issues with documented rationale to the Senior Associate
• Support in drafting exception logs and weekly summary reports
• Maintain confidentiality protocols and secure document handling at all times

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• LLB / LLM from a recognised law school
• 1-7 years of experience in legal contract review, KPO/LPO, or in-house legal
• Demonstrated ability to review and abstract 20+ agreements per day
• Strong understanding of standard commercial risk indicators in contracts
• Experience working with or against a defined legal playbook
• Proficiency in MS Office suite; comfort with document tracking tools
