Responsibilities

• Design and implement a simple, scalable HR operating model from scratch
• Full ownership of hiring, onboarding, performance management, retention, and exits
• Build core frameworks: performance, compensation, and org design
• Work directly with senior leadership on decisions, then execute the work yourself
• Ensure compliance across US and European jurisdictions mandatory
• Manage HR operations across multiple legal entities simultaneously mandatory
• Navigate portfolio-level complexity — policies, headcount, and reporting that serve multiple business units mandatory
• Stand up basic systems, reporting, and data discipline

Profile

• 10+ years of experience, including HR leadership roles
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience with US and European employment law, labour regulations, and compliance requirements mandatory
• Proven track record operating across multiple legal entities — including structuring policies, contracts, and practices entity-by-entity mandatory
• Experience working within a portfolio or holding-company environment, supporting more than one business simultaneously mandatory
• Comfortable building from zero with limited existing structure
• Commercial, pragmatic, low ego
• Effective operating remotely with senior stakeholders
