Vice President I

RealPage is seeking a world-class VP Engineering an inspiring leader who can plan, direct, coordinate, and scale our Engineering department to achieve our aggressive multi-product, international expansion plans. To be successful, you'll need to bolster our culture of excellence and effectively recruit top engineering talent into senior roles. As a permanent member of our senior leadership team, you'll also bring your technical expertise to bear on strategic business planning and partner with product management on the development of our roadmap.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• . Be tasked and be resourced to successfully lead Engineering team, so that engineering becomes a cornerstone of our core business competency.
• . Develop an engineering roadmap with your architect and senior engineers, so that our service environment becomes more performant, scalable, reliable, and secure over time.
• . Mature and reinforce engineering standards through our SDLC, improving design, code, release, and operations quality.
• . Prioritize Engineering efforts across competing initiatives, so that the team consistently meets product delivery and engineering project milestones.
• . Partner with HR to recruit and retain top engineering talent in key roles, so that high quality decision making and execution is distributed throughout your teams.
• . Develop and garner buy-in from business and Engineering stakeholders, to support the technology strategy you envision for our company.
• . Serve as a partner to other members of the senior leadership team, bringing your technical expertise and business acumen to strategic planning and execution.
• . Build effective partnerships with material service providers, to optimize service optimization, operational support, and cost.
