Job Title: Accounting Manager (US Accounting)

Location: Ahmedabad (Work from Office)
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager with strong expertise in US Accounting principles and team management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of accounting processes to manage daily operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and team activities.
• Lead, mentor, and support a small accounting team.
• Ensure proper cross-training within the team for operational continuity.
• Review and improve accounting processes and workflows.
• Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready reconciliation files.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely completion of accounting tasks.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Review and approve procurement invoices for payment processing.
• Adapt to changing business requirements and prepare reports as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US Accounting fundamentals and accounting processes.
• Experience managing and leading an accounting team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Expertise in balance sheet reconciliations and audit documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and process improvement skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in US Accounting or the outsourcing industry is preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be given preference.
