Job Responsibilities :

Participates in a structured on-the-job training program and become familiar with Assurance business intelligence dashboards, Accounting and Assurance Principles and Standards.

Learn, apply and provide high quality deliverables on the assigned dashboards, data requests, and data management projects.

For any projects that you’re involved with, understand the relevant stakeholder needs, requirements, and business context.

Learn, understand, and apply basic Excel and Power BI (Power Query and DAX) skills necessary to be successful as an Information Quality Management & Reporting professional.

Work with the stakeholders and provide relevant updates and complete the tasks assigned within the expected timeframe

Collaborate with product teams, data engineering and other stakeholders as needed. Focus on developing effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and sustain professional relationships.

Prepares and documents data analytics and data management work specific tools, applications and templates.

Ensure the BDO ADVANTAGE

protocols are followed before the request is delivered to the engagement teams.

Contributes ideas / opinions to the Information Quality Management & Reporting project teams and listens / responds to other team members’ views

Additional responsibilities and projects as required

Education : B.com

Experience :

Prior accounting or data analytics experience, preferred

Demonstrated initiative in learning, adopting, and / or applying innovative approaches and technology, preferred

Software :

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint, preferred

Knowledge of tools like Power Bi, Alteryx, DAX, SQL will be an added advantage
