About the Role
Avery Dennison is seeking a high-impact Innovation Manager in AMEA to drive strategic growth, by leading the end to end innovation process and outcomes in the region.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to shape the innovation agenda for a high-growth region, working directly with senior leadership on strategic priorities and shaping the future growth agenda for AMEA.
Key Responsibilities
1. Insight Generation & Opportunity Identification
Lead structured market discovery and insight generation across AMEA
Lead deep-dive ecosystem interviews (brands, converters, retailers, regulators, etc.)
Identify unmet and unarticulated needs across key segments and industries
Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into clear opportunity areas
2. Innovation Pipeline Development
Build and manage a robust innovation funnel aligned with AMEA strategic priorities
Evaluate opportunities using structured frameworks (market attractiveness, feasibility, ROI)
Drive concept development from idea to validated business case
Partner with regional and global teams to align innovation priorities
3. End-to-End Project Management
Lead cross-functional innovation projects from ideation to commercialization
Track progress, manage stakeholders, and ensure timelines and outcomes are met
4. Strategic Evaluation & Thought Leadership
Own the process of identifying whitespace opportunities in the system
Develop strategic recommendations for growth across segments and geographies
Support leadership with data-backed insights and strategic narratives
Bring external perspectives, trends, and best practices into the organization
5. Stakeholder Engagement
Qualifications
Experience
8-12 years of experience in management consulting firms (preferred) or strategy / innovation roles in leading organizations
Prior experience in innovation, new product development, or market strategy is a strong advantage
Skills & Capabilities
Strong problem-solving and structured thinking
Proven ability to derive insights from ambiguity
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Hands-on experience in primary research, market analysis, opportunity sizing and business case development
Strong project management skills with ability to drive execution
Good communication and storytelling ability

Comfortable working across diverse markets in AMEA
