Responsibilities

• Prepare GA, detail and shop drawings (CAD)
• Update drawings and maintain revision control
• Coordinate RFIs with site, PMC and consultants
• Create BOQ take-offs from drawings as required
• Issue drawings, prints, and transmittals on time
• Support as-built updates and drawing close-out

Skills Required

• AutoCAD 2D drafting; layers, blocks, layouts
• Read GFC drawings, specs and IS standards
• Detailing: sections, levels, rebar / steel layouts
• Strong dimensioning, tolerance and annotation
• Basic Excel; drawing registers and revision logs
• Good file naming, plotting and print set-up

Success Metrics

• Low drawing errors; minimal rework from site
• Revisions closed within agreed turnaround time
• Zero missing dimensions / notes in issued sets
• As-built sets completed before handover
• High first-time approval rate from PMC / client
• Drawing register 100% updated and audit-ready
