Our client is a well-established, PE-backed renewable energy IPP with a diversified portfolio across solar, wind, and hybrid projects. It has been one of the fastest-growing platforms in the sector over the past few years, with a large operating portfolio and a robust pipeline of projects under construction.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned fund-raising professional with a proven track record of closing transactions and strong relationships across domestic and global equity investors. The role will also involve evaluating opportunities for inorganic growth, exploring JV partnerships, and assessing emerging sectors within the new energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Equity Fundraising: Lead evaluation and execution of private equity raises and potential public listing options.
• Investor Engagement: Build relationships with PE investors and drive visibility through roadshows and regular interactions.
• Fundraising Execution: Manage end-to-end fundraising processes including diligence, data rooms, and negotiation support.
• Capital Structuring: Assess and recommend optimal capital structure aligned with the company's growth plans.
• JV Partnerships: Identify and evaluate asset-level JV opportunities for project development and co-investment.
• New Energy Evaluation: Assess investment opportunities across emerging energy segments and advise on platform entry.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in equity fundraising, investment banking, or capital markets in renewable energy or infrastructure.
• Strong network with domestic and global PE investors and experience running equity raise processes.
• Good understanding of equity term sheets, valuations, due diligence, and capital markets.
• MBA with a strong educational pedigree
