WAS Administrator

Position: WAS Administrator (3rd Party Contract - 6months to 1year (extendable))

Experience: 4-8 Years

Job Location: Gurugram

Must Have skills:

WAS Administration, CICD (Jenkins, Ansible), Scripting Skills – Shell/Python (python) or Unix, Tomcat

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Participate and, if necessary, lead the architecture design and adoption of a CI/CD solution in the organization
• Hands-on automation with Ansible and Scripting.
• Extensive domain level knowledge and real world experience of building, supporting and managing Application and Web Server technologies.
• Excellent UNIX and scripting skills (Java will be good to have)
• Previous experience of providing technical support in a global operating environment
• All round interest in Middleware technologies
• Real experience of coordinating multiple technical teams to investigate and resolve problems
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• Ability to coach team members in supported technologies and processes
• Extensive experience of supporting IBM WebSphere Application Server, I.H.S WebServer (Apache),JBoss Application Server.
• Scripting skills for create and maintain custom ansible modules, small automation.
• Jenkins maintenance declarative/scripted, shared libraries.
• Extensive experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, bamboo, concourse, bitbucket, GitHub, team city and ansible), pipelines, and experience with popular CI/CD systems
