JD: Donor Relations & Partnerships Associate
Leap 300: Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO)
A high-impact sales and partnerships role for someone who thrives on building relationships, driving renewals, and closing high-value contributions — all in service of one of India's boldest poverty-alleviation missions.
Leap 300 has pioneered a high-tech, low-touch model to alleviate extreme poverty (<$2/Day), with outstanding pilot results. We are now implementing this model in partnership with the Punjab government, and we're looking for a strong leader to oversee this mission-critical project from end to end.
Mission for the Role:
Enable Leap 300's growth by deepening relationships with existing donors and building new high-value individual giving partnerships that fuel our mission to help ultra-poor families graduate from poverty through entrepreneurship.
The Role:
As the Donor Relations & Partnerships Associate, you will support our Head of Sales in expanding and nurturing Leap 300's donor base. You will play a hands-on role in engaging existing HNIs, driving renewals, identifying new prospects, and ensuring every donor has a meaningful experience through timely communication and impact reporting. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building relationships, is detail-oriented, and thrives at the intersection of sales and operational management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Referrals: Identify and engage potential donors through referrals from existing HNIs and partners.
- Lead Generation: Independently source and penetrate new high-value networks and partnerships (e.g., YPO, EO, industry associations), with full ownership of lead generation and pipeline building.
- Prospecting & Outreach: Build curated lists of prospective HNIs and conduct cold calls, emails, and follow-ups to secure new donations.
- Donor Renewals: Track donor cycles, coordinate follow-ups, and ensure timely renewals of existing contributors.
- Donor Experience Management: Coordinate personalized communication, impact reports, and feedback collection to enhance donor satisfaction and retention.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the Head of Sales to maintain CRM records, analyze donor trends, and prepare concise updates for leadership.
Profile:
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, fundraising, partnerships, or client relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in reaching out to senior professionals and HNIs.
- Highly organized and detail-driven, with strong follow-through.
- Comfort with CRM tools, Google Sheets, and presentation decks.
- Passion for social impact and willingness to learn donor relationship building in a mission-driven context.
Compensation Structure: Combination of fixed pay and a performance-based variable component.
