Job description

Role Description

We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant. As an Accounts Assistant, you will work closely with your team to provide day-to-day accounting support to the business by dealing with customer and supplier accounts.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with Xero
  • Experience of being involved in a month end process
  • Dedicated and proactive and able to work remotely in a small team
  • Comfortable speaking on the telephone/video calls with operations staff and team members
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Ability to calculate, record, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Qualified AAT (or similar)/part qualified/QBE
