Position : Assistant Manager – Aftermarket

Job Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Aftermarket to join our Service & Aftermarket team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service support for Pumps, Cooling Towers, Valves, and Actuators . This role requires strong technical proficiency, excellent customer-handling skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring customer satisfaction and retention through high-quality aftermarket services.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical & Service Execution
- Independently handle customer sites for installation, commissioning, and service of Pumps, Cooling Towers, Valves, and Actuators.
- Perform testing and commissioning of Cooling Towers.
- Work on PLC-based controllers, HMIs, VFDs, and BMS-integrated systems .
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Fishbone Analysis for equipment failures.
- Assist in Energy Audit processes and collect field data for HVAC system optimization.
- Prepare timely and accurate service reports and technical feedback for customers and management.
Customer Management & Communication
Act as a primary point of contact for customer queries via email, phone, and on-site visits.Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive service and communication.Handle and resolve customer complaints with professionalism and urgency.Support OEM service teams and coordinate with internal departments for seamless service delivery.Manage end-to-end site coordination , from installation to final handover.Administrative & Coordination
Maintain detailed service documentation, site records, and reports .Prepare service summaries and communication logs using MS Office and Outlook.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive service excellence and revenue growth through aftermarket support.Be willing to travel extensively across India for service-related assignments.Qualifications & Experience :
Education :Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical) with 8+ years of experience, orB.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical) with 5–6 years of experience.Preferred Industry Background :HVAC, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Valves, Actuators, or similar capital equipment domains.Experience :Proven experience as a Service Engineer / Aftermarket Engineer / Assistant Manager in the HVAC or allied industry.Demonstrated ability to manage service operations independently and communicate effectively at all levels.Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and HVAC system optimization will be an added advantage.Skills & Attributes :
Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and equipment .Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook .Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects efficiently.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service quality and excellence .Skills Required
