Job description
This role is ideal for someone who understands SEO fundamentals and also has working knowledge of website platforms like WordPress and Shopify. You will gain hands-on experience in optimising websites, improving search visibility, and working closely with developers and content teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in on-page and technical SEO activities across client websites
  • Optimise website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking
  • Support keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimisation
  • Work on WordPress and Shopify websites for SEO implementation
  • Assist in website audits including site speed, mobile optimisation, and basic technical SEO
  • Coordinate with content and design teams for SEO-friendly execution
  • Monitor website performance using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics
  • Maintain SEO trackers and support basic reporting
  • Stay updated with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO)
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and Shopify
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced agency environment
