Travel Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Travel Consultant for onsite (Ahmedabad) to join our team and specialize in creating unforgettable travel experiences across the continent. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of Europe to curate customized itineraries, manage travel arrangements, and exceed client expectations. We are offering guaranteed 15% increment on your current salary & 20% increment for immediate joining.

Our services encompass everything from destination consultation to handling flight, visa, hotel, and experiences arrangements. We specialize in both mainstream and off-beat tourist destinations, with a particular focus on Asia, Europe, America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, South Africa, and many more countries.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop personalized travel itineraries for clients traveling to long haul destinations (Europe, Australia-New Zealand, South Africa, Turkey, USA, Canada & more), exceeding their expectations and ensuring a seamless experience.
• Conduct thorough research on destinations, including attractions, accommodations, transportation options, cultural nuances, and visa requirements (basic knowledge of Schengen VISA a plus).
• Utilize online travel booking engines to secure competitive rates for flights, hotels, tours, and other travel components.
• Design and develop personalized travel itineraries for clients traveling to Europe, exceeding their expectations and ensuring a seamless experience.
• Conduct thorough research on destinations, including attractions, accommodations, transportation options, cultural nuances, and visa requirements (basic knowledge of Schengen VISA a plus).
• Utilize online travel booking engines (OTBs) to secure competitive rates for flights, hotels, tours, and other travel components.
• Manage all aspects of travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and activities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, actively listening to their needs and preferences to create bespoke itineraries that align with their budget and travel style.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on destinations, cultural insights, and travel logistics.
• Proactively monitor and manage changes in travel restrictions, advisories, and flight schedules.
• Maintain strong working relationships with travel suppliers and tourism boards.
• Contribute to the team by sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
• Stay current on industry trends and developments related to European travel.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a travel consultant with a proven track record of creating successful travel packages, particularly for European destinations.
• Extensive knowledge of European geography, cultures, and popular tourist attractions.
• Ability to create customized itineraries that cater to diverse client interests and budgets.
• Proficiency in using online travel booking engines (OTBs) and travel management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on active listening, building rapport, and exceeding client expectations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English communication is essential.
