Job Summary:

Airtel is looking for an IT Security Manager to join our Vulnerability Management team, specializing in both infrastructure and container environments. In this role, you will assess, identify, and mitigate security vulnerabilities, leveraging security tools, automation, and container security best practices to protect global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments (VA) for both infrastructure and containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Use vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable.sc, Nessus, and container security tools like Prisma Cloud to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in both environments.
• Prioritize remediation based on risk ratings (CVE, CVSS) and collaborate with operational teams for patching and vulnerability resolution.
• Generate detailed vulnerability reports, recommend security fixes, and track remediation progress across both infrastructure and containerized environments.
• Automate vulnerability management tasks to improve efficiency, leveraging security automation tools.
• Stay updated on zero-day vulnerabilities, specifically those impacting infrastructure and containerized systems, and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT, Business, and Development teams to remediate vulnerabilities in both traditional infrastructure and containerized environments.
• Maintain up-to-date security documentation and vulnerability management knowledge base, ensuring proper governance.
• Experience with Prisma Cloud for container security and other container runtime security tools is highly desirable.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in Vulnerability Management (VM) for both VM and container environments.
• Hands-on experience with Tenable.sc, Nessus, Prisma Cloud, and other container runtime security tools.
• Deep knowledge of CVE, CVSS, and OWASP in both infrastructure and containerized environments.
• Experience with security automation tools and incident analysis in both VM and container contexts.
• Strong understanding of container security best practices, including monitoring, scanning, and securing container runtimes and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
