Skills/Knowledge :

• Basic electronics troubleshooting
• Basic computer operation and understanding of network communication
• Strong communication skills (English, Hindi, and preferably any South Indian language)
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and incident-management tools will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:-

• Daily monitoring of CORS sites
• Remote troubleshooting of network connectivity issues
• Arranging local support if a site is not restored through remote troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting solar and raw power issues, GNSS receiver, VPN router, GNSS antenna, and earthing issues with the help of local support
• Ensuring data from each CORS site is backed up to the FTP location at the Control Center and that the receiver's local storage never becomes full
• Preparing daily call logs for CORS site issues
• Logging calls with broadband ISPs and resolving mobile SIM-related issues
• Arranging spares for problematic sites, performing configuration before dispatch, and managing return of faulty units from sites
• Troubleshooting faulty equipment received from sites and coordinating repairs with respective vendors/OEMs
• Coordinating and thoroughly inspecting preventive maintenance work carried out by third-party contractors
