Role Description

To ensure accuracy and integrity in financial operations through effective record maintenance, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards. The position supports invoicing, statutory filings, and financial reporting, including VAT, CT, GST, and TDS. It also assists in month-end and year-end closures, process improvements, and coordination with internal teams to enhance efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the accurate maintenance of financial records using advanced accounting software.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial data management.
• Support invoicing procedures to ensure timely and accurate billing to clients.
• Assist in maintaining accounts of revenues and expenses for accurate accounting and reconciliation of cash and bank transactions.
• Aid in comprehensive accounting of EPF, ESI, and other statutory implications.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in reflecting employee compensations and benefits.
• Assist in preparing and finalizing UAE VAT & CT returns, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in producing necessary financial statements and supporting documents regularly.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting processes, adhering to accounting standards and deadlines.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data during closing activities.
• Efficiently handle filing processes for GST and TDS, ensuring accurate and timely submissions in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure unwavering compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Innovatively identify areas for process refinement and contribute to the implementation of streamlined procedures.
• Skilfully manage both cash and bank payments, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial transactions.
• Reconcile cash and bank accounts to ensure adequate controls over banking arrangements and review and resolve variances.
• Contribute to the development of staffing plans, schedules, and process change initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency.
• Support quality initiatives to promote operational excellence.
• Assist the operations team in managing client-related matters and internal financial operations.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management to support the overall growth and success of the department.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Commerce graduates or postgraduates with Finance specialisation with thorough UAE VAT & CT returns knowledge
• Prefer CA, CMA India, ACCA professionals or enthusiasts
• Experience: minimum 3 years
