Role Overview

Join us as a PreSales Engineer to support tenders & project bids across India. You'll play a pivotal role delivering technical proposals, BOQs, and aiding sales with expert product knowledge in automation and IIoT.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather requirements, support technical discussions, and present solutions
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and BOQs
• Interpret electrical/PLC control panel specifications and IIoT solution architecture
• Coordinate with engineering & production teams to scope projects, pricing, and timelines
• Evaluate RFQs, support in-house tender documentation, and ensure compliance
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with leads—manage follow-ups, escalate hurdles, and close opportunities
• Independently handle small-to-mid-size project estimations end-to-end
• Stay current with emerging trends, industrial protocols, and IIoT technologies

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.E. in relevant technical discipline
• 1–3 years in industrial automation / control systems
• Familiarity with electrical control panels, PLCs, SCADA, and IIoT platforms
• Proven experience in BOQ creation, cost estimation, and client-facing proposals
• Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD basics, and documentation tools
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate cross-functionally

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to industrial protocols: Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, etc.
• Familiarity with government tender portals like GeM/eProcurement
• Basic knowledge of CRM/project tools and digital tender platforms
