Creative Director (Unreal Engine 5) - High-End Animated Series

We are producing a complex 3D animated web series featuring humans, animals, and insects across diverse locations. We are moving beyond traditional rendering and building a robust Unreal Engine 5 pipeline.

We need a Creative Director with a major international studio background who has successfully transitioned to Real-Time Animation.

The Challenge:

Pipeline Architecture: You will define the workflow from Maya/Blender into UE5, ensuring high-fidelity transfer of animation, grooms (fur/feathers), and rigs.

Creature Complexity: You must understand how to handle complex characters (quadrupeds, insects) within the constraints and advantages of Unreal Sequencer and Control Rig.

World Building & Environments: You must have deep expertise in creating rich, optimized backgrounds. From dense nature biomes to detailed interiors, you need to know how to use Nanite, Quixel, and Lighting to create cinematic environments that support the story.

Client Confidence: You will be the technical and creative authority in the room, demonstrating to stakeholders that our real-time output matches the quality of high-end offline rendering.

Must-Haves:

Deep experience with Unreal Engine 5 (Sequencer, Lumen, Nanite).

Proven track record in top-tier feature animation environments.

Technical mastery of Grooming in UE5 (Strand-based hair/fur for animals).

Strong knowledge of Environment Art & Level Design (Composition, Set Dressing, and Optimization).

A portfolio showing narrative storytelling delivered via real-time engines.
