Accounting and Finance Analyst

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Accounting and Finance Analyst is responsible for various corporate finance functions, including month-end closing, reporting and analysis, support statutory and internal audits, fixed asset administration, review & reporting of Internal controls for financial reporting & other adhoc projects.

Essential Functions

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform monthly variance analysis vs. forecast and prior periods
• Review and improve internal controls and Accounting / Finance policies and procedures
• Reports and administers Fixed Asset / Other Asset reporting and administration, including leading fixed asset verifications.
• Completes Internal control financial reporting (ICFR) testing and reporting, including planning and project management.
• Prepares tax filings and coordinate with Ralliant corporate on state / federal tax compliance and accounting activities.
• Assists finance manager with ongoing and special projects as assigned, including implementation of new accounting standards.
• The candidate should be open to working in EMEA business hours, typically from 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM IST
