JOB SUMMARY
The Finance & Accounting Manager will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting activities but not limited to financial close, financial reporting, revenue recognition, tax declaration, annual budget, reimbursement, and support other operational aspect of general accounting for the company.
The Finance & Accounting Manager works closely with Director of Finance, global financial team, local sales team, customer service, warehouse, and other functions. This role is responsible for account reconciliations, monthly variance analysis, gap resolution, financial close, report generation and operations related management reporting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll accounting, Fixed asset accounting.
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation of financial report, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, reserve calculations and intercompany transactions
- Maintaining both local and US GAAP books.
- Ensure all transactions are in full compliance of Corporate SOX controls, internal control, and policies.
- Assist with the preparation, review, and timely payment of monthly payroll and statutory contributions.
- Actively involved in generating inventory ageing report, inventory physical count and reconciliation.
- Oversee credit collections process, including follow up with customers for past due invoices.
- Review expense claim submitted to ensure compliance with policies and create reimbursement report.
- Review revenue transactions and document revenue testing per US GAAP reporting.
- Timely and accurately recording and paying account payables
- Manage cash flow projections to ensure sufficient funds for payments.
- Respond to internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure timely preparation of all the local statutory filing and reporting.
- Participate in the preparation of the yearly budget and quarterly forecast updates.
- Responsible for the timely tax filing, correspondence with tax authorities and tax payment in accordance with local tax legislation. (GST, TDS, PT, PF)
- Perform ad-hoc accounting analysis, reports, and projects, as requested.
- Involve or lead projects and assignments as part of the professional development opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.Minimum 8 years of full set of accounting experience in multi-national organizations.Licensure & Certification
Chartered Accountant- Intermediate preferableOther equivalent Accounting or Financial related certificationsKnowledge, Skill, and Ability
