Job Title : Linux Server Administrator

Experience : 3 to 8 Years

Locations : Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days

Job Description :

Technical Skills Required :

3 – 8 years of experience in Linux Server Management & Administration.

Strong experience with Linux OS operations and troubleshooting.

Hands-on with server installation (physical / VM), maintenance, and decommissioning.

Good understanding of LVM, DNS, LDAP, and IPTables.

Experience with hypervisor operations – XEN and VMware.

Experience with physical server management.

Good Experience in at least one public cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Chef) and scripting (e.g., Bash, Perl).

Experience using Git Hub and JIRA is a plus.

Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus (especially in Docker setups) or ELK stack is beneficial (not mandatory).

Knowledge of central infrastructure : Security Groups, RPM, Rsync, Mail Services, Active Directory, Nagios, Repository Management.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Provide L3 support per SLAs; handle incidents, changes, RCA per ITIL.

Manage server lifecycle : install, configure, monitor, maintain, decommission.

Perform storage ops using Net App-NFS.

Manage package / repository and update OS images.

Support cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Windows).
