Salesforce / Vlocity Senior Developer

We are looking for a passionate Trailblazer (aka Salesforce Developer) to join our Technology team supporting Cigna International Markets’ Salesforce Broker Servicing Experience Cloud portal.

The Salesforce / Vlocity Senior Developer will work on an Agile scrum team and will be responsible for managing assigned work requests throughout the SDLC.  The successful candidate will require to gain in depth understanding of business processes related Broker Servicing Experience Cloud application and build customized solutions accordingly using Salesforce declarative tools, custom code, and AppExchange products. The candidate must have strong technical and communication skills to interface directly with internal stakeholders and be comfortable to propose and execute application design and coach more junior team members.

A normal day looks like :

Development

• Analysing requirements to ensure information is complete and determine complexity.
• Applying your knowledge of “out of the box” functionality to determine what different design options exist and highlight any compromises.
• Proposing, developing and documenting customised solutions within the Salesforce platform including flows, functions and configurations as well as maintaining balance between point and click and coding solutions
• Developing and documenting customised solutions leveraging Vlocity components such as Omniscripts, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures to complement built-in Salesforce functionality
• Ensuring developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable.
• Ensuring that solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices and leverage standard CRM functionality where possible.
• Bug fixing within the project deliverables, including support to more junior developers
• Maintaining system security and integrity
• Deployment / Release of the change through sandboxes to production
