Job Description :
The Support Engineer serves an important role within our team and requires the following background :
- 2-4 years' experience supporting internet systems, with co-dependencies on a wide range of geographically diverse partner systems
- Proficient in writing SQL queries (DDL, DML, DQL commands and stored procedures) and very good knowledge on MySQL and MSSQL databases.
- Good knowledge of Linux, Networking, and hands on experience in Jenkins for deployments.
- Hands on experience of Supporting Java Applications.
- Proficient understanding of different types of errors & exceptions in application generated logs. Analyzing logs, debugging and driving issues to closer.
- Hands on Experience in Splunk Enterprise.
- Should be able to write SPL queries, handle machine generated logs, and create and edit Splunk Alerts, Reports and Dashboards.
- Good knowledge of shell scripting, daily work automation through scripting and cron.
- Basic knowledge in MongoDB, Postman.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel to do basic reconciliations.
- Coordinating with different teams and stakeholders for resolving the issues related to application and data reconciliations.
- Experience of using IT management software and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Good understanding of ITIL processes like Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management concept.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Open to learning new tools & technologies.
- Proven ability to take up customer facing role which involves multiple stakeholder management
- Excellent English - both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar from a reputable institution
- Passion to personally grow, and curiosity to continually learn and shape our international support team
