Job Overview
Language Testing has become a cornerstone department for the Oxford International Digital Institute, and with continued growth our operational and academic capacity needs to increase. This role will oversee the daily tasks required to ensure high-quality delivery to both students and partners, while forming part of the development group to continue our drive to improve both test engagement and usage.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Academic Administration
- Work across the academic support inbox and respond to emails on a daily basis from candidates helping them with academic based queries.
- Investigate cases of suspected malpractice during the speaking test.
- Investigate cases of AI detection / plagiarism in written tests.
- Complete ID checks on exams to verify candidate authenticity using TrustID reports to help support investigations.
- Investigate all suspected cases of attempted cheating in the exam helping to support the wider team with outcomes that can be communicated directly to candidates.
- Work with members of the Operations and Student Support team to help resolve issues and queries from candidates.
Other
Contribute to the academic running of the ELLT including responding to all academic issues from examiners, and candidates.Operate as a flexible team member and provide a high level of customer service to students and staff connected with OIDI.To contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of OIDI.Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required by the manager.Person Specification

Educated to degree levelShould hold certified TEFL qualification (CELTA / TESOL or above)Good numeracy and literacy skillsCompetence in Microsoft Office and other IT applicationsExperience and knowledge
Must have solid CEFR knowledgeDemonstrated experience conducting assessments for Cambridge, IELTS or similarFamiliar with online platforms used for teaching and / or testingExtensive EFL teaching experience, including proven experience preparing learners for exams such as IELTS, Cambridge, or equivalent.Experience with video conferencing programmes such as ZoomExperience with educational platforms (Desirable)HR / Recruitment Experience (Desirable)EAP / EFL Content Writing Experience (Desirable)Skills and abilities
