Position Overview :
The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for both offline retail operations (store-level, regional, and zonal roles) and online / e-commerce functions. The role requires a strong understanding of the retail ecosystem, talent needs across various departments, and the ability to attract and on board top talent that aligns with the company’s culture and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across offline and online retail verticals — from sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation to on boarding.
- Partner with business heads and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Source candidates through multiple channels — job portals, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and direct sourcing.
- Develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for key retail roles including Store Managers, Sales Executives, Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, E-commerce, and Technology roles.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and coordinate functional interviews with stakeholders.
- Maintain recruitment dashboards and MIS reports, tracking hiring metrics such as TAT, offer-to-join ratio, and source effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to hiring budgets and timelines.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, campus drives, and industry events to enhance employer branding.
- Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Key Requirements :
Education : Graduate / Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Experience : 5–8 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years in the retail sector handling both offline (store-level) and online (e-commerce) hiring.Industry Exposure : Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG retail preferred.Skills & Competencies :
Strong understanding of retail business functions (operations, merchandising, marketing, e commerce, supply chain, etc.)Proven ability to hire in volume as well as for niche roles.Excellent sourcing, screening, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, ATS, etc.)Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
