Sr. Associate - Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Qualys WAS Qualys Policy Compliance Qualys Vulnerability Management and Qualys VMDR. This role is hybrid and requires no travel. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our systems and networks.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage Qualys WAS to identify and mitigate web application vulnerabilities.

Oversee the deployment and configuration of Qualys Policy Compliance to ensure adherence to security policies.

Provide expertise in Qualys Vulnerability Management to detect and remediate security vulnerabilities.

Utilize Qualys VMDR to manage and prioritize vulnerabilities across the organization.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.

Develop and maintain security policies procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats and respond accordingly.

Lead incident response efforts to contain and remediate security breaches.

Provide training and guidance to employees on security awareness and best practices.

Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends threats and technologies to ensure the organizations security posture remains strong.

Prepare and present security reports to management highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Work closely with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant security standards.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of Qualys WAS Qualys Policy Compliance Qualys Vulnerability Management and Qualys VMDR.

Have a proven track record of successfully managing and mitigating security vulnerabilities.

Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Hold relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CEH.

Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of cyber security.

Display the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
