Description : About the Role :
We are seeking a Digital Media Manager with proven expertise in managing and scaling YouTube channels and digital campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic growth, optimization, and monetization of YouTube channels, while also overseeing digital media initiatives across platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
This role requires a data-driven, creative professional with hands-on experience in video marketing, audience development, and paid media advertising.
You will work closely with content creators, video editors, and performance marketing teams to drive engagement, visibility, and revenue.
Key Channel Management :
- Manage YouTube channels for various clients or internal brands, ensuring consistent growth in subscribers, views, and engagement.
- Build and execute YouTube channel strategies including content planning, publishing cadence, community engagement, and monetization.
- Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and playlists for SEO and audience discovery.
- Set up and run various YouTube ad formats : Skippable / Non-Skippable In-Stream Ads, Bumper Ads, In-Feed Video Ads, Outstream Ads, Masthead Ads, etc.
Performance Tracking & Reporting :
Use YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics, and other tracking tools to monitor channel health, traffic sources, audience retention, revenue performance, and ad campaign effectiveness.Set up and manage attribution tools such as UTM parameters and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to track user behavior and campaign performance.Generate actionable insights from data to drive continuous improvements.Content Strategy & Collaboration :
Collaborate with video production teams to align content creation with trends, audience preferences, and channel goals.Research industry trends, keywords, and competitor strategies to inform content planning and increase audience reach.Work with designers and editors to create compelling thumbnails and video intros / outros.Digital Advertising & Social Media Campaigns :
Plan and execute paid media campaigns on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant digital platforms.Manage media budgets, bid strategies, targeting, A / B testing, and optimization for best ROI.Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align digital campaigns with brand and business objectives.Client and Stakeholder Management :
Serve as the primary point of contact for client updates, campaign results, and strategic recommendations.Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports highlighting key metrics and future growth strategies.Train internal stakeholders or clients on YouTube best practices and platform updates, when necessary.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelors or Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience managing YouTube channels and / or paid media campaigns.YouTube Certified (preferred).Deep understanding of YouTubes algorithm, monetization policies, and ad formats.Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and Tag Manager.Proven track record of growing digital channels organically and through paid campaigns.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic insights.High attention to detail, excellent project management skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities(ref : iimjobs.com)
