Must-Have :
- Experience in IBM MQ product installation, upgrades, maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in administrating, alert setup and monitoring the message process using tools like MQ explorer, Omegamon for MQ and TEPS.
- Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirement
- Defining the MQ objects queues, channel, process definition, Topic, etc .
- Skilled at executing IBM MQ utilities to handle the MQ queue messages(backup, deleting a particular records Good understanding of messaging interfaces and connections to the IBM other products (such as CICS, DB2, IMS..) and third party application servers.
- Perform MQ online monitoring, investigate MQ CPU usage using SMF statistics analyze
- Nice to have knowledge with MQSeries and MQClients on distributed platforms.
- Nice to have knowledge Mainrame zOS, JCL, VSAM, ISPF and COBOL.
- IBM and ISV Vendor Coordination for Ticketing Incidents / Problems, SW downloads, Escalations
