Role Details

Xavier College  is seeking a motivated and dedicated Sports Coordinator  for our  Gawler Belt  (7-12) campus. This position is classified as a POR2 for a fixed period of two years and commences January 2026 .

This role may include a teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.

The Sports Coordinator will be responsible for leading and coordinating all College sporting events, including intra-school and inter-school sports competitions and carnivals, as well as managing excursions and incursions related to sporting activities. This is an exciting opportunity to promote sport and inspire students to actively participate in the College’s sporting life.

As the  Sports Coordinator  you will :

• Develop, implement and evaluate programs that promote and enhance student participation in sport and physical activity across Xavier College
• Lead and coordinate College sporting events, carnivals and inter-school competitions, ensuring all activities are conducted safely, inclusively and within budgets
• Lead and coordinate co-curricular Pedal Prix races, training sessions and equipment management.
• Design, promote and facilitate lunchtime sporting programs that encourage active engagement
• Demonstrate and model enthusiasm, commitment and passion for sport to inspire students involvement
• Collaborate with staff, students and the wider College community to build a cohesive and vibrant sports program aligned with the College’s mission and values
