Job Title : Payroll Assistant

Position Overview We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to support payroll operations and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The Payroll Assistant will work closely with the Payroll Specialist and HR team to maintain records, process employee changes, resolve discrepancies, and provide excellent communication to both employees and clients regarding payroll inquiries. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an interest in payroll compliance and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Help with payroll reporting and audit requests (e.G., pay stubs, W-2s).

Help with payroll data entry through the ADP TotalSource Platform

Maintain accurate employee payroll records such as bank information, W-4s, benefit deductions, and time-off balances.

Process employee transactions including new hires, terminations, and changes in a timely manner.

Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies or payment errors (working with Abhinav and Thulasi).

Provide clear and professional communication to employees and clients regarding payroll inquiries.

Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Stay informed on payroll-related updates and best practices.

Requirements :

Prior experience in payroll, HR, or administrative support preferred.

Basic knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements (training provided).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ADP Workforce Now payroll / HR systems a plus.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to support employees and clients in a professional manner.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
