Job descriptionAssembly, Testing, Painting and Packing process, preferably in the Engine industry. Tightening techniques and fastening tools. Motion study, capacity planning & Cycle time calculation. Process and costing. Technical Drawing & Standards : Component and assembly drawing. GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and Drawing reading. Engine terminology and their measurement methods. Knowledge of systems like ISO / TS, Kaizen, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices. Software & Equipment : Testing software and drafting (AutoCAD) software. Material handling systems and equipment. Proactive, innovative, team player
Title : Engineer (ME - Toolroom)
Experience level : 1 to 3 years
Core Responsibilities :
- Execute Proto engine Assembly, Testing, Painting and Packing Process .
- Establish Facility / Process for new or modified engines .
- Conduct Proto trails and execute Engine proto assembly as per plan.
- Prepare and update process documents / work instruction, tool lists .
- Establish new fastening tools and assembly fixtures .
- Conduct time, motion, and work study .
- Execute Process change management for continual improvement through Productivity, Quality, Cost, and Safety.
- Update programs for new Electrical fastening tools and Testing cycles in respective software.
- Execute Process improvement and Quality improvement by implementation of different levels of Poka-Yoke , Low cost automations , and work standardization .
