Job descriptionDevelop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIA. Design and modify mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on requirements. Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Purchase) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs. Assist in resolving design-related issues during development and production stages. Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and industry regulations. Maintain proper documentation including design revisions, BOMs, and technical specifications. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in mechanical design or product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, etc.).
- Good understanding of engineering fundamentals, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and create detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and mechanical components.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
