Role Overview

As the Revenue Cycle Leader , you will be responsible for leading and scaling the Prior Authorization (PA) operations team. You’ll ensure that all patient authorizations are processed accurately and efficiently, helping the business maintain smooth cash flow and patient satisfaction. You’ll work directly with the Founder , have equity in the company , and be part of a fast-track growth journey in a high-impact leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Prior Authorization Operations : Oversee the end-to-end PA process — ensuring timely and accurate submission, tracking, and follow-up with insurance companies.
  • Team Management : Build, train, and mentor a team of Prior Authorization Specialists, ensuring productivity and process excellence.
  • Performance Tracking : Monitor key metrics such as turnaround time, approval rates, and claim accuracy to drive operational efficiency.
  • Process Optimization : Identify gaps and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to scale operations effectively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with U.S.-based teams, including providers, billing, and customer success, to resolve authorization and payment issues.
  • Leadership & Ownership : Take full ownership of results, ensure compliance with company policies, and build a high-performing team culture.
  • Strategic Growth : Collaborate with leadership to define growth roadmaps, hiring plans, and technology adoption for the PA function.

Requirements

  • Experience : Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Prior Authorization Operations (mandatory).
  • Leadership Skills : Prior team management experience preferred — ability to lead, motivate, and scale teams.
  • Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare systems, insurance workflows, and revenue cycle management.
  • Analytical Mindset : Ability to interpret performance data and take data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal English communication; comfortable liaising with U.S.-based stakeholders.
  • Work Location : Open to working from our Bangalore office .
  • Entrepreneurial Attitude : Self-starter with a growth mindset, excited to work directly with the founder and own a core business function.
