Location : Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad / Chennai

Experience Required :

10+ years overall IT experience with minimum 5+ years in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and 3+ years in SailPoint solution architecture / design

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced SailPoint Architect to design, implement, and optimize Identity & Access Management solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and / or IdentityNow. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IAM frameworks, strong solution design skills, and proven success in leading large-scale IAM transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

Lead the end-to-end design of SailPoint-based IAM solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Translate business requirements into secure, high-performing technical architectures.

Define integration patterns for SailPoint with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and applications.

Implementation & Delivery

Oversee configuration, customization, and deployment of SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow.

Define workflows, connectors, policies, and role models for identity lifecycle management.

Guide the development team in coding, testing, and deploying IAM components.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure IAM architecture adheres to organizational security policies, industry standards, and compliance regulations (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

Implement governance processes for access review, certification, and policy enforcement.

Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as a technical SME for SailPoint within the organization.

Partner with cross-functional teams including Security, Application, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams.

Mentor junior IAM engineers and consultants.

Required Skills & Experience

Expertise in

SailPoint IdentityIQ

(IIQ) or

IdentityNow

architecture and deployment.

Strong understanding of

IAM concepts

such as provisioning, access reviews, certification, role management, and SOD (Segregation of Duties).

Hands-on experience with

Java ,

BeanShell ,

REST / SOAP APIs , and directory services (LDAP, Active Directory).

Knowledge of

cloud IAM integration

with AWS, Azure, and SaaS platforms.

Experience with connectors for systems like SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, and Office 365.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Good to Have

SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer or Architect certification.

Experience with other IAM tools (Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock).

Knowledge of

Privileged Access Management (PAM)

and

Zero Trust security models .

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
