Job descriptionProven experience as a Commis in a bakery or patisserie kitchen. Strong knowledge of dough mixing, kneading, and baking techniques. Familiarity with various types of flour, sugar, and other ingredients used in pastry-making. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Adaptability to changing situations and priorities.
We are looking for a skilled Bakery and Pastry professional with 1 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry-making and bakery operations.
Roles and Responsibility
- Assist the head chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
- Prepare high-quality pastries, bread, and desserts according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop new recipes and ideas to enhance the menu's appeal.
- Ensure all food products meet quality and freshness standards before service.
