We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks by working with their product and sector teams and supporting them in deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.
What you will be doing at Evalueserve-
As an equity research analyst, the selected candidate will track specific securities and conduct a detailed analysis covering all relevant aspects that may affect securities. The role also involves a high level of interaction with senior stakeholders on an ongoing basis, wherein the selected candidate will be required to present work to the client and discuss day-to-day work.
- Create and maintain MS Excel-based financial models with forecasts
- Conduct extensive company valuations involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVA
- Benchmark companies using financial and operating statistics
- Prepare company profiles, earnings and flash notes, quarterly updates, coverage, sector and theme-based reports, newsletters, etc.
- Support onshore analysts in time-sensitive earnings updates
- Track news, events, and results of the companies under coverage
- Track and monitor regulatory trends impacting the industry
- Collect information from industry or sector databases
- Create presentations on industry and company research for marketing and roadshow activities
- Collect financial data using online and other market sources, such as Bloomberg
- Create / maintain industry databases wherever relevant
- Summarize investment conference calls
- Handle ad hoc research requests
What we are looking for-
MBA / CA with 5+ years of relevant experience in equity research (sell side)CFA Level 1, 2, or 3 (pursuing or completed) will be an added advantageAbility to identify and solve issues effectively and within strict deadlinesStrong understanding of accounting concepts and valuation methodologiesExpertise in building financial models with forecastingGood financial writing skills (beyond factual reporting, such as company description)Ability to build client rapport and work in sync with onshore teamsAbility to work independently and eye for detailAbility to identify and solve issues effectively on timeProactiveness and thought leadershipKnowledge of databases, including Bloomberg, FactSet, and other financial data systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in MS Office, especially MS ExcelKnowledge of VBA will be an advantageDisclaimer : The above job description serves as an informative reference for the tasks you may be required to perform.
