Location : Chennai / Kolkata

Interview Mode : Virtual mode (Microsoft Teams)

Exp : 8-12 Years

• 8+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration (SQL Server 2012 through 2022).
• Strong proficiency in installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
• Expertise in backup and recovery strategies, using native tools and third-party solutions.
• Deep understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) techniques (AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, Clustering, Mirroring).
• Strong experience in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, SQL Profiler, and Execution Plans.
• Solid T-SQL programming and scripting experience.
• Experience in managing large and complex databases (TBs of data, high transaction volume).
• Ability to work in team setting as well as independently.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance, including encryption, auditing, and role-based access.
• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, T-SQL, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Agent jobs, SSIS packages, and SQL Maintenance Plans.
• Good communication skills with both technical and management teams
