Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer to join our PMC team and lead the planning and scheduling functions of large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in project planning preferably within the PMC framework and possess strong technical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Coordinate with project managers consultants and contractors to align project timelines and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance.
Perform delay analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
Prepare and present project planning reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Support cost estimation and resource planning activities.
Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards.
Conduct site visits to validate progress and ensure schedule adherence.
Skills & Competencies
Advanced project scheduling and planning expertise.
Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Leadership and team coordination skills.
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and delay analysis techniques.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects.
Proven experience in PMC environments is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 MS Project and other planning tools.
Additional Information :
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle.
Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
