Instrumentation Engineer – CRGO Steel Industry

Vilas Transcore Limited is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrumentation Engineer to join our Maintenance team in Vadodara . This role is critical for ensuring the precision and reliability of control systems within our specialized CRGO (Cold Rolled Grain Oriented) steel manufacturing facility.

Job Summary

We require an experienced Instrumentation Engineer responsible for the maintenance, expert calibration, and advanced troubleshooting of all field instruments and complex control systems. Your expertise will directly impact the quality and throughput of precision equipment such as annealing furnaces, slitting lines, and cut-to-length machines , ensuring they operate within the tightest defined process parameters.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Instrument Management : Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot a wide range of essential field instruments, including Temperature Sensors (RTDs, thermocouples), Pressure Transmitters, Flow Meters, Level Sensors, and Proximity / Position Sensors.
• Control Systems : Monitor and maintain sophisticated control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and HMI interfaces, specifically those integrated with CRGO process equipment.
• Reliability : Work in close coordination with electrical and mechanical maintenance teams to minimize downtime, quickly resolve failures, and support overall production reliability.
