Role : Instrumentation Consultant

Experience : 30 + Years ( Ok with Retired persons)

Location : Vadodara _ Gujarat

Education : B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech

Field Instrument Design : -

Experience in supervision of multiple projects in preparation / review / approval of design deliverables; Design Basis, Instrument Index and I / O List, Inst. Datasheets, Instrument & Control system Specifications, Installation drawings and Hookups, Level Sketch, Inst. Location Lay outs, Cable Tray lay outs, Control room lay outs, Cable and Junction Box Schedule, Wiring and Interconnection drawings, Hygienic Instruments and Fittings, Functional loop schematics, Loop Wiring Diagram, Shutdown narratives and Logic Diagrams, MTO, Tender etc.

Inter-Disciplinary Activities

P&ID review and update, 3-D Model review, IDR / IDC, Participation in HAZOP Reviews.

Experience following instrument sizing software.

Instrument Selection - All types of field instruments. Exposure to selection of instruments and systems for Hazardous areas.

Experience in review / approval of min. following procurement deliverables ; Material Requisition, TBE, Purchase Requisition and Vendor Drawing Review and approvals.

Exposure in handling Control Systems

DCS, ESD (SIS), PLCS, package control systems, Fire & Gas systems (FGS).

Must have worked as Lead Instrumentation Engineer for at least 2 mid to large scale Chemical / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas projects. Estimation of engineering efforts, Monitoring and control of departmental cost and schedule, Client meetings and reviews, Site surveys and reports.

Functional safety - safety life cycle, SIL study / SIL verification experience is must. Candidate should be Certified Functional Safety Engineer (FS Engr.)

Very Strong communication and mid-level managerial skills along with core technical skills needed.

Mentoring, Training, Checking of Documents Candidate key role is mentoring team, providing them technical training and checking the deliverables.
