Role Description

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping operations for multiple international clients.

Review and ensure accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions.

Lead a team of accountants and bookkeepers; provide training, guidance, and performance reviews.

Ensure timely closing of books (monthly, quarterly, annually).

Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulations.

Liaise with clients to understand needs and resolve queries promptly.

Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable / receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.

Generate and review financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, etc.

Coordinate with tax teams for year-end audit and compliance work.

Continuously optimize bookkeeping processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Use and administer accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Minimum  7+ of experience in bookkeeping / accounting, with  3-5 years in a managerial capacity .

Proven experience handling international accounting / bookkeeping operations.

Familiarity with US accounting practices is highly desirable.

Expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks Online / Desktop, Xero, Sage, etc.).

Strong knowledge of Excel and other reporting tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and client engagements simultaneously.
